Kindred Studios

This studio is a one man outfit at the moment, Kenkaid brainstorms, drafts, records, edits, and produces the Podcast and all social media promotion and marketing on his own. We are on a budget here people so delegation is not an option. We are sure there are some (many) who can relate.

The name Kindred came into being from the idea of Kindred Spirits. Which we think embodies the Queer community pretty well. We are a minority just trying to survive at this point. Each of us is a small flame with the capacity to become a firestorm of pride and joy. At the same time, that firestorm can turn into a blazing inferno consuming ourselves if we're not careful.

The Queer Stoic Podcast

The Podcast itself, which was the first production from Kindred Studios, was originally another show which admittedly flopped due to personal happenings and self-discovery getting in the way for Kenkaid. So the entire show went under a complete re-write, re-brand, and relaunch under the name The Queer Stoic in honor of Stoicism which is the philosophy Kenkaid follows as a self-study student of Philosophy.

The show is really just a microphone and a laptop on Kenkaid's desk at home since an actual studio is not in the budget, as much as he wishes it could be. Trying to find time to record when roommates, children, and his day job take up so much time and energy is difficult. Never the less, weekly episodes will be promised and delivered.

The Kindred Community

Now we come to the fun part, Kindred Studios is in the works of creating a "Kindred Community" an exclusive club for supporters of the studio and The Queer Stoic if they so choose. The content is in the works which will include live events such as Q&As, Discussions, and brainstorming sessions where the community can have a hand in the creation of the content produced by the studio. Pricing is in the air, but we don't want it to be outrageous, we aren't looking to get rich here. Donations are already available which are completely voluntary through the RedCircle platform at the button below.

This Kindred Community is a way to bring those queer flames burning bright with rainbow colors together into the firestorm of pride in ourselves and something to grow together as we move through life in the best way we can despite the political and socioeconomic storms swirling around us. Our flames will remain strong, and our 'Kindred Spirits' can weather any storm as long as we do it together.
